Welcome to SelfAI. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SelfAI application (“App”) and website at https://www.selfai.download (“Site”), operated by Rocket Digital Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SelfAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

SelfAI is an AI photo studio application that allows you to generate professional headshots, portraits, and creative photos from selfies using artificial intelligence. The service is available on iOS, Android, and as a web application.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use SelfAI
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. User Content

4.1 Your Photos

  • You retain ownership of the photos you upload to SelfAI
  • By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to process them using our AI technology for the purpose of generating headshots and portraits
  • You represent that you have the right to upload and use the photos you submit
  • You must not upload photos of other people without their consent

4.2 AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated headshots and portraits created through SelfAI are provided for your personal and commercial use
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated images will be perfectly accurate representations
  • You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content
  • You must not use AI-generated content for illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Generate content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Create fake identities or impersonate others using generated images
  • Use the service to generate explicit, pornographic, or illegal content
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
  • Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract data from the service

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 In-App Purchases

  • SelfAI offers both free and premium features
  • Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or RevenueCat
  • Payment is charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

6.2 Refunds

  • Refund requests for App Store purchases must be directed to Apple
  • Refund requests for Google Play purchases must be directed to Google
  • We do not process refunds directly for app store purchases

7. Third-Party Services

SelfAI integrates with third-party services to deliver its features. By using SelfAI, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by:

  • RevenueCat — Subscription management
  • Firebase — Authentication, storage, and analytics
  • Google AdMob — Advertising
  • OpenAI — AI image generation
  • Microsoft Azure — Cloud services and AI processing
  • Replicate — AI model inference
  • Fal.ai — AI inference
  • Google Analytics — Usage analytics
  • Meta Pixel — Advertising analytics

Each service operates under its own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.

8. Intellectual Property

  • The SelfAI App, brand, logo, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Rocket Digital Limited
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our App without permission
  • Our AI models, algorithms, and technology are proprietary

9. Disclaimers

  • SelfAI is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service
  • AI-generated images may not always meet your expectations
  • We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SelfAI. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rocket Digital Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to SelfAI at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
